Jody Haneke is President and Founder of Haneke Design in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Haneke was part of the emerging field of user experience design from the day he graduated Ringling College of Art and Design with a degree in Graphic Design in 1995. His first projects, as a professional, were user interface designs for touch-screen kiosks for major brands and retailers such as Oshman’s Sporting Goods, Blockbuster, Ford Motor Company and Honeywell Space Systems. Mr. Haneke later cofounded Mediacentric Group, an interactive agency helping both venture-backed start-ups and brick and mortar companies embrace emerging internet technology.
Now, Mr. Haneke leads a company, that was founded in 2002 on user experience design, with in-house full stack, custom software development capabilities. Embracing mobile even prior to the announcement of the iPhone, Haneke Design has become the go-to resource for companies such as NYSE, Paramount Pictures, Target, and the One World Observatory to launch digital products that amaze and delight end-users.
Jody plays an integral role in keeping the technology community in Tampa thriving, holding significant positons such as a partner with Florida Funders and a key member on the Chairman’s Board of the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation (EDC). He serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at the University of Tampa Lowth Entrepreneurship Center and is on the advisory committee for St. Petersburg College (SPC). Additionally, Jody serves on the Board of Directors at the Florida Aquarium and is involved in the Tampa Bay Tech (TBT) CEO Council. In 2019, he was honored by his Alma Mater, Ringling College of Art and Design, as an Honorable Alumni and is featured on their Alumni wall.
Haneke Design has won over 50+ design and user experience awards throughout the years and continues to expand its business solutions with a core commitment to process and innovation. Additionally, Jody has contributed to his local community as former President of the New Suburb Beautiful Civic Association.
